A full length play script about the American home front during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The play setting is a Kansas kitchen during the year 2005 with earlier backstory of the events leading to our entry into Iraq. The storyteller is an unlikely witness, the soldier's new mother-in-law, who finds her family suddenly thrust into a life they know nothing about; the one way journey from the safety of the 99% to the daily reality for the 1% of America who fight our wars.
